About Crush Sand

Crush sand (Manufactured Sand / M-sand) is a man-made fine aggregate produced by mechanically crushing hard stones like granite, basalt, or limestone into sand-sized particles.

Simple Description

Crush sand is:

• A replacement for natural river sand
• Produced in stone crushing plants
• Sized between 0 mm to 4.75 mm
• Used widely in concrete, plastering, and masonry

How It Is Made

1. Large rocks are fed into crushers
2. Crushed into smaller particles
3. Passed through VSI (Vertical Shaft Impactor) for shaping
4. Screened to get proper grading
5. Washed to remove dust and fines
